For players born 2010 or earlier in Open, 20s and Masters divisions at The Championships (formerly the National Touch League), 2026 event conditions. Covers divisions, team eligibility, player eligibility, loans, squad sizes, fees, finals, match rules, suspensions and national talent identification.
TFA's 2026 event conditions refer to the event as the National Touch League (NTL) / The Championships. Touch Football Australia's Championships FAQ says the National Touch League was redesigned from 2024 to include affiliate representative teams, because the NRL Touch Premiership now covers the elite competition and The Championships focuses on growth and participation across a wider range of levels.

The 2026 Event Conditions list the teams eligible to take part:
Affiliate teams may compete with endorsement from their relevant Region or State, which must not be unreasonably withheld. All Abilities teams can represent their Region, State or Affiliate without an endorsement. International teams must be endorsed by their national body and may accrue points and contest finals in any division unless TFA decides otherwise.
TFA decides whether to accept team nominations. For 2026, final nominations were due at 5pm AEDT on Wednesday 21 January 2026, and withdrawing a team after that date carried a $200 per team late withdrawal fee.

The 2026 Event Conditions list these divisions and age restrictions (by year of birth):
Each division needs at least four teams to be viable. If teams withdraw after nominations close and fewer than four remain, TFA may modify or combine the division with another.
All Abilities has two kinds of player: Certified Athletes (athletes with a disability) and Non-Certified Athletes (without a disability). Tier 1 teams cannot have any Non-Certified Athletes and follow the 8th Edition Rules. Tier 2 and 3 teams are limited to two Non-Certified Athletes on the field and six in the squad. All Abilities divisions played on the first three days of the 2026 event.
