- Officials
To be eligible for any assignment, an official must be "in good standing" with both their provincial sport organization (PSO) and Triathlon Canada. That requires:
- an annual Technical Official licence obtained through the PSO
- completion of all required Safe Sport training and checks
- compliance with the PSO and Triathlon Canada Codes of Conduct
Deadlines:
- For international assignments, annual licensing must be completed by December 1 of the year before the assignment.
- For national assignments, licensing must be completed by January 31 of the competition year.
- PSOs send Triathlon Canada a list of all officials in good standing by January 31, including information on language skills.
Logs are no longer required to establish good standing. They are used only in the selection process for Major Games.
