Stage 2 Match Day Rules 6.2 and 6.3:
20-over match
- Maximum 4 overs per bowler.
- Teams of 10 or fewer: everyone, including the wicketkeepers, bowls at least 2 overs.
- Teams of 11: 9 players bowl 2 overs each and 2 players bowl 1 over each.
- No one other than the designated second wicketkeeper bowls more than 2 overs until all others, excluding the first wicketkeeper, have bowled 2 overs. The second wicketkeeper may bowl up to 3 overs before keeping.
30-over match
- Maximum 5 overs per bowler; everyone bowls at least 2 overs.
- Year 6 boys: no one bowls more than 3 overs until all others, excluding the first wicketkeeper, have bowled 2 overs.
- Year 7 boys and Year 8-9 girls: no one other than the second wicketkeeper bowls more than 2 overs until all others, excluding the first wicketkeeper, have bowled 2 overs. The second wicketkeeper may bowl up to 3 overs before keeping.
Part overs: if a bowler is injured mid-over, another player completes it and the normal restrictions apply to both. A bowler who is not allowed to continue after repeated waist or shoulder-high no balls also has the over completed by a different bowler, and the part-over counts as an over for each.
