- Check in for your event with your team manager (UniSport athletes not also representing a state check in at the Technical Information Centre). To scratch before a race, the athlete or team manager can do so at the TIC. An athlete who does not run after confirmation by the team manager is shown as DNS.
- Report to the Call Room before your event with your bib attached. The final entry time is 20 minutes before the scheduled start time in the final timetable.
- In the Call Room, officials check that your uniform, bib, shoes and other equipment comply with the rules, including checks for non-conforming advertising.
- Athletes go from the Call Room to the assembly area next to the start line 5 minutes before the advertised start time, accompanied by a Call Room Judge or Starter's Assistant. An athlete who goes to the event without an official may not be allowed to start.
- Warning announcements (a whistle from the starter) are made at 3 minutes and 1 minute.
- No goods are collected or stored in the Call Room. Arrange with your team manager to collect tracksuits and other garments at the start line.
