What do I need to know about Cycling South Africa licences and categories to ride sanctioned road events in 2026 (all ages)? Licence and membership types, day membership limits, sanctioned events, age and veteran categories, racing groups, championships and equipment rules.

| Adult membership | Cycling SA membership for adults |
| Youth membership | Cycling SA membership for U17 riders and younger |
| Day membership | For riders without a current membership or licence. Valid for one day only, with restrictions |
The Cycling SA Membership and Licensing Policy, adopted each year at the AGM, governs these.
