Basket interference includes:
- touching the basket or backboard while the ball is in contact with the ring after a shot or the last free throw;
- reaching through the basket from below to touch the ball;
- a defender touching the ball or basket while the ball is within the basket;
- making the basket vibrate, or grasping it, so the ball bounces unnaturally or is helped in or kept out;
- grasping the basket and playing the ball.
