No. PDGA Leagues are the lowest tier of PDGA-sanctioned events, and the PDGA Competition Manual (section 1.14) makes these exceptions for them:
- Non-members and lapsed members don't pay the temporary membership fee charged at other sanctioned events.
- You can win cash prizes without a PDGA number.
- Amateurs can accept cash at leagues without losing amateur status.
- You can play in a different division each week, but only once per league week.
- Where the director, local law and the venue allow, players of legal age may drink alcohol during the round, but not to excess.
A PDGA league runs one round per week on the same weekday for 6 to 10 consecutive weeks. Otherwise, the Official Rules of Disc Golf apply in full.
