Which age division can I play in?

Age is worked out by the year of the event, not your birthday on the day. For the Youth Championships, the 2026 handbook says:

• Under 18: cannot turn 18 or older in the year of the event.
• Under 17: cannot turn 17 or older in the year of the event.
• Under 16: cannot turn 16 or older in the year of the event.
• Under 15: cannot turn 15 or older in the year of the event.
• Under 14: cannot turn 14 or older in the year of the event.

The Under 19, Under 21 and Under 23 divisions are in the separate Australian Junior Volleyball Championships (9 to 12 July 2026), with the same year-of-the-event method.
