Q: What happens when we play in hot weather?

USA Club Rugby's 2026-27 regulations say USA Rugby recommends applying World Rugby's Heat Illness Prevention Interventions during a match when conditions reach both of these: a temperature of 86°F or higher, and humidity of 60% or higher. The interventions are published on World Rugby's player welfare site, playerwelfare.worldrugby.org.
