Can I wear a camera, a microphone or an earpiece during a game?

Q: Can I wear a camera, a microphone or an earpiece during a game?

Not a camera or microphone. Rule 1-6-3 says no player may wear any audio (microphone) or video (camera) device during the game, so you can't record, transmit or livestream yourself. The one exception is one-way coach communication (Rule 1-6-2). From 2027 a coach in the dugout may send pitch calls by a one-way electronic device to the pitcher and/or catcher while your team is on defense. The coach must stay in the dugout or bench area, and players can't send anything back. Other electronic communication with players on the field isn't allowed. Medical devices aren't counted as wearable technology. Your state association may restrict electronic devices further.
