- Membership: no. You do not need to be a registered Netball WA member to take part in Walking Netball.
- Fee: yes, everyone pays. Walking Netball is a standalone programme, independent of the annual Netball WA membership process, so players who are already Netball WA members still pay the participation fee.
- Medical clearance: not required. Netball WA highly recommends consulting your doctor before registering if you are unsure of your ability or capacity to participate.
