For players aged 12 and over in Netball WA's Walking Netball programme, 2026. Covers: no running or jumping, steps, 4-second possession, 3-foot defending distance, substitutions, game timing, positions, membership, fees and registration.
Walking Netball is a modified version of netball played entirely at a walking pace. Netball WA describes it as aimed at encouraging participation rather than competition, with the rules modified to reduce the physicality of the game and the risk of injury and falls.
Who can play: every Netball WA Walking Netball programme is open to participants aged 12 and over, of all abilities and backgrounds. There is no maximum age.
