From Level 4 up, she moves up one level at a time by scoring the mobility score (an all-around total) at a live USA Gymnastics sanctioned meet. Levels 1-3 have no mobility score.
| Level | Score to move up |
|---|---|
| 4 | 34.00 (two 36.00s let her skip Level 5) |
| 5 | 32.00 (lets her skip Level 6 if wanted) |
| 6 | 32.00 |
| 7 | 32.00 |
| 8 | 34.00 |
| 9 | 34.00 |
Things to know:
- She can switch back and forth between Levels 5 and 6.
- She can compete at most two State Championships in a competitive year (August 1 to July 31), one per season.
- USA Gymnastics can't require a gymnast to move up. She should show proficiency at her current level first, then move up when it's safe. Repeating a level just to win is against the spirit of the program.
- Dropping back a level is limited and usually needs a petition from her coach, for example for injury or illness.
- Gymnasts coming from Xcel or another program enter the Development Program at Level 4 or below.
