- Email safesport@basketball.on.ca with all matters. Ontario Basketball says it will determine the appropriate forum and manner to address the complaint, and that issues are triaged between the Fair Play Committee and an external third party.
- Confidential support: the Canadian Sport Helpline is at 1-888-83-SPORT (phone or text) or info@abuse-free-sport.ca, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET, 7 days a week.
- Code of conduct: conduct that breaks the OBA Code of Conduct (which covers clubs, coaches, athletes, spectators and officials) may be subject to action by the OBA Discipline and Fair Play committees. Anyone who witnesses a violation should contact the Commissioner of Fair Play and Resolution.
- Club duty: the 2026-27 Rules and Regulations Manual says a club must remove a staff member from club activity where a complaint, interim measure or other credible information raises a safety concern, pending OBA direction. A club that does not can lose some or all of its teams' places in OBA-sanctioned competition and its OBA membership.
- Rules of the manual: complaints, investigations, sanctions and appeals are governed by the OBA Discipline and Complaints Policy and the OBA Appeal Policy.
