Only through an approved transfer. Under section 5.3 of the 2026-27 manual (which covers the OBL, the Ontario Basketball Championships, sanctioned games and tournaments, and G-Elite):
- An OBA youth-rep player may transfer to another club with the written consent of both the current club and the receiving club, submitted to OBA by email on the official OBA transfer form.
- Ontario Basketball must approve the transfer.
- The transfer is not final until the player's registration is moved to the new club's Ramp account.
- A player who appears on a second club's roster without an approved and completed transfer is ineligible, and the games they played in are subject to forfeiture.
- Once a player has been added to one club's player list in Ramp, they cannot be added to any roster of another OBA-affiliated club unless they go through the transfer procedure.
- Once registered and assigned to a team roster, a player must stay with that team for the rest of the season unless OBA grants a transfer.
