The Major Division is for players of league age 9 to 12. The local league may limit it to league ages 10-12 or 11-12.
For Little League Softball, league age is your child's actual age on December 31 of the previous year. That's different from Little League Baseball, which uses August 31 of the current year. For example, a player who was 12 on December 31, 2025 is league age 12 for the 2026 softball season.
Little League Softball is open to girls and boys.
