When does the run rule end a game early?

Q: When does the run rule end a game early?

Under Rule 4.10(e), the game ends when one team leads by: 15 or more runs after three innings (two and a half if the home team is ahead), or 10 or more runs after four innings (three and a half if the home team is ahead). A game ended by a run rule is a regulation game. Your league can also adopt an 8-run rule for the regular season, which applies after five innings, or choose not to use run rules at all.
