Only the Goal Shooter (GS) or Goal Attack (GA) can take a Super Shot. For two points:
- The shooter must have contact with the ground in the Super Shot scoring zone, and no contact with the ground outside it, while catching or holding the ball before the shot.
- The shooter may lean on the ball in the goal circle or goal third outside the zone, or roll or pick the ball up from those areas, as long as they make no physical contact with the ground outside the zone.
- If the ball has already left the shooter's hands when the Super Shot signal sounds, and the shooter has met all the other Super Shot rules, a successful goal is still worth 2 points.
All other requirements for scoring a goal follow the World Netball rules.
