What if the umpire and score bench disagree on whether a goal was worth two points?

The umpire signals a successful two-point shot by raising both hands straight above their head and saying "two (2)", so the bench officials apply the right score. The reserve umpire stands during the Super Shot period to help umpires award the goal correctly.
If the value is miscommunicated:
- The reserve or non-controlling umpire who spots a possible anomaly calls time before the next centre pass and discusses it with the controlling umpire.
- If it was miscommunicated, the umpire closest to the score bench tells the bench the correct value.
- If the non-controlling umpire did not notice, the bench manager alerts the reserve umpire, who holds time at the next available centre pass and seeks clarification from the on-court umpires.
- The score bench amends the score at the next opportunity, and at the next time out or interval the bench manager tells the team managers, match delegate and broadcast.
Apart from this process, the controlling umpire's decision on the value of a Super Shot goal stands, with no right of appeal or query by any team.
