Volleyball Canada does not publish a separate club-to-club transfer policy in the documents reviewed. What its 2026 Youth Nationals Competition Guide does set (the 2027 guide was not yet available, so details may change):
- Membership: every athlete and team personnel member must hold a competitive membership with their PTA, which makes them a Volleyball Canada member. Only registered members in good standing may take part.
- Province of residence: a player or team must buy their membership in the province or territory where they live. Registering with a PTA outside the province of residence needs prior approval from Volleyball Canada and the two PTAs involved.
- One PTA only: no player or team may register with more than one PTA at the same time. A player who wants to change PTAs mid-season needs approval from Volleyball Canada and the PTAs involved.
- Nationals roster: players on the Nationals roster must be the same as those on the roster for their PTA Championship, and rosters lock at the provincial roster lock date.
- Late replacements: after the roster lock, an incoming player is only considered through an exemption request ($100 per player change) if the team has 7 or fewer players remaining on its Nationals roster, the incoming player played the current season with the same club, and the incoming player did not play for a team declared in an older age category that season.
