Lineouts
| Age | Lineout |
|---|---|
| Under 13 | No lineouts. Ball in touch is restarted with a free pass 10 metres in from touch (or a quick throw-in). |
| Under 14 | Uncontested lineout, introduced this year. No lifting or supporting of any kind. Non-lineout players stay 10 metres back until the referee invites them forward. |
| Under 15 boys | Uncontested, but lifting and supporting the jumper is allowed. |
| Under 16 to Under 18 boys, and all girls' bands from Under 16/15 | Full World Rugby lineout law. |
Kicking
| Age | Rules |
|---|---|
| Under 13 | Kick-off and restarts by drop kick, receivers 10 metres back. Fly-hacks allowed. No box kicks or drop goals. A kick from outside your 22 directly into touch gives the opposition a free pass level with where it was kicked. |
| Under 14 | Box kicks and drop goals allowed. Kicks directly to touch from outside the 22 give a lineout level with where the ball was kicked. Conversions can be place or drop kicks. |
| Under 15 to Under 18 | World Rugby Laws apply. |
Opponents must be 10 metres back at free kicks and penalties from Under 13 upwards.
