For the 2026/2027 season the per-competition entry fee at a Nordiq Canada Tier 1 event is a maximum of $50 CDN + GST. Fees can exceed this only with the approval of the Nordiq Canada Director of Events, for example when an independent venue charges trail fees to the organizing committee.
- Skiers must be able to access the competition trails two days before the competitions, and the entry fee covers trail fees for all official training and competition days.
- The entry fee covers the athlete and their coaches only. Everyone else follows the hosting venue's policies, and all participants pay trail fees outside official training and competition days.
- Nordiq Canada may sanction a "snow enhancement fee" of $5 per athlete per competition day to cover snow making and storage costs.
- The organizing committee is not required to refund the fee if you register and then do not take part.
- The race notice should set a registration deadline no earlier than 7 days and no later than 2 days before the first competition.
