- Elite Canada: you must have met mobility for the category you want to compete in.
- Canadian Championships: you must have met the qualification standard for your category within the competition season. Provinces may not set additional qualification scores for Canadian Championships (they may set extra scores for provincial funding).
- If you switch category within the season (for example L6 to L7), you do not need to re-qualify in the new category. The one exception is mobility from L4 to L5, where you must qualify again once in L5.
- Athletes who competed at Worlds or the World Age Group Competition the year before automatically qualify for Canadian Championships in that event, in the category they were selected for. National Team members can also petition GymCan directly.
Individual trampoline (TRI) qualification standards (score with minimum DD)
| Category | Women | Men |
|---|---|---|
| Novice and L5 | 80.9 with 7.7 DD | 80.9 with 7.7 DD |
| L6 and Junior | 81.4 with 9.2 DD | 82.8 with 10.1 DD |
| L7 | 47.4 with 10.8 DD | 49.4 with 12.3 DD |
| Senior | 49.3 with 12.7 DD | 52.1 with 14.5 DD |
For Novice, L5, L6 and Junior the score is the compulsory plus any optional routine from the same competition. For L7 and Senior it is any routine.
