Rule 6.06(d) applies to any bat not complying with these standards:
| Championship | Permitted bats |
|---|---|
| Canada Cup | Only wood or bamboo; composite not permitted |
| Men's and 22U | Wood, bamboo and wood composite (wood with fibreglass sheathing, or wood barrels with composite handles); no bat with any metallic component |
| 18U and Ray Carter Cup (15U) | -3 BBCOR bats are permitted |
| Women's, 19U Women's, 16U Girls | Maximum barrel 2 3/4 in with a 1.15 BPF or USA Baseball Model; up to a minus 5 length/weight differential |
| 13U | Maximum barrel 2 3/4 in with a 1.15 BPF or USA Baseball Model; up to a minus 10 length/weight differential |
In all divisions the bat must clearly show the manufacturer's original markings, including the length-weight differential where applicable. If not, the bat is considered illegal.
A player follows the bat rule of the division they are playing in for that game: a 13U-aged player in a 15U game, or a 16U-aged girl in a 15U game, uses the 15U bat rule.
