Do these Hockey Australia policies apply to my club?

The Hockey Australia Concussion Policy (effective 1 January 2024) applies to Hockey Australia, state and territory member associations, regional associations and affiliated clubs that have adopted it. The Extreme Weather Guidelines apply to each hockey organisation (Hockey Australia, member associations, and the regional associations and clubs that have adopted them). The Code of Conduct (effective 1 January 2024) applies to registered individuals and hockey organisations, including team managers. Hockey Australia says local, regional and state competitions may have their own regulations, and the Extreme Weather Guidelines are described as guidelines that organisations are encouraged to combine with local competition by-laws. This FAQ covers those national documents only; it does not cover match cards or equipment rules.
