Yes. Under article 16.2 of the National Registration, Status and Transfer Regulations (NRSTRs), all Club Officials and Team Officials, including volunteers, must register with Football Australia (FA) through the National Online Registration System (PlayFootball) in the manner FA prescribes.
- A Team Official is anyone (paid or unpaid) involved in the management, preparation or participation of a Club's team, including coaches, managers, medical staff, physiotherapists, gear persons and other support staff.
- Clubs are responsible for making sure their Club Officials and Team Officials are registered.
- FA may refuse or rescind an Official's registration in its sole and absolute discretion, and a refusal is final and cannot be reviewed or appealed.
- By registering, Club Officials and Team Officials agree to abide by the FA Statutes.
- The registration, and any fees, levies and charges associated with it, must be processed through the National Online Registration System as the mandatory first point of entry unless FA approves otherwise.
- Where FA is the Competition Administrator, officials must also complete any registration process set in the Competition Rules.
