Errors
- During the game, the timer must wait for the first dead ball before sounding the signal about an error.
- The scorer consults the crew chief and corrects the scoresheet when the error is found within the limits for correctable errors (Article 45).
- If the error is not found within those limits, it can no longer be corrected. The crew chief or the commissioner (if present) sends a detailed report to the organising body of the competition.
- If the scoreboard and the scoresheet disagree and it cannot be resolved, the scoresheet takes precedence and the scoreboard is corrected.
End of game
- Enter the score for each quarter and all overtimes in the summary section.
- Enter the time in the "Game ended at (hh:mm)" column immediately at the end of the game.
- Draw 2 thick horizontal lines under each team's final points and the numbers of the players who scored them, then draw a diagonal line down the rest of the column.
- Enter the final score and the name of the winning team.
- All table officials sign next to their names. The crew chief approves and signs last.
If the captain signs under protest, the table officials and umpires stay available to the crew chief until given permission to leave.
