How do the team events work?

Team events are on Saturday 13 February 2027:

| Event 2 | Family team: directly related, immediate family | 3 to 5; no individual entries (it's the biggest field of the weekend) |
| Event 3 | Company team: employees of the same company (not relatives or friends of employees) | 2 to 5; individuals only with the organisers' permission |
| Event 4 | Non-company team | 2 to 5; individuals only with the organisers' permission |
- Every team member swims the full mile (about 1.6 km).
- The team result uses the fastest three finish times, so at least three members must finish.
- When entering, teams choose to be seeded together (same start batch and cap colour) or individually (possibly different batches).
- A team entry is not the same as a bulk entry (20 or more entries bought by one organisation), although teams can be part of one.
