When do I need to alert the referee about a player's penalties?

The Penalty Timekeeper must report these to the Referee:

It also helps to track:

• A player's 2nd misconduct in a game, which becomes a game misconduct.
• The team's penalty total. If one team gets 12 or more penalties in a game, its head coach is suspended for the next game.

Also tell the Referee promptly about any difference between the clock and the correct penalty time.
