- Scorekeepers
The league president appoints an Official Scorer for the league. The scorer:
- has sole authority over judgment decisions in the book, such as whether a batter reached first on a hit or an error;
- must follow the Scoring Rules strictly, and may rule on any point they don't cover;
- keeps the record that is treated as official if a pitcher's eligibility is questioned.
The scorer must not make any decision that conflicts with the playing rules or an umpire's decision, and must not point out that a player is batting out of turn. The scorer is an official representative of the league and is entitled to be treated with respect.
