What are the OFSAA cross country divisions and how are ages worked out?

There is a girls' and a boys' race in each of three age classifications. Age is based on the birth certificate and measured at January 1 before the start of the school year of the competition:
- Senior: has not reached their 19th birthday by January 1.
- Junior: has not reached their 15th birthday by January 1.
- Novice: has not reached their 14th birthday by January 1. Students may compete as Novice for one year only, in Grade 9.
There is also a separate Para Race (Open).
