The NSWRL and ACT Judiciary Time Frame Guidelines (last modified 6 February 2025) set these steps:
- At the end of the match: the team sheets are signed with the send-off noted. You complete the online Match Official Report Form. The Referees Association and the League or Regional administrator must both be made aware of the charge. This report is not the official Notice of Charge.
- Sunday 6:00pm: you complete and submit a further Online Match Officials Report through the prescribed form.
- Monday 9:00am: the Match Officials Dismissal Sheet and the Online Match Officials Report go to the relevant League or Competition administrator.
