Do I need a USA Ultimate membership to play?

Yes. Under the 2027 College Eligibility Guidelines, every player must:

1. be a USA Ultimate member in good standing at all times, and
2. show a picture ID when asked by the tournament director or a USA Ultimate official at a sanctioned event.

All of your eligibility must also apply at the same school as the rest of the roster (or a USA Ultimate-approved consortium), and at the same branch or campus if your school has several. Each team must have a designated Team Organizer responsible for the team's registrar-certified season roster.

Breaking these rules can mean disqualification from the current College Series and/or from any USA Ultimate sanctioned events for up to one year. USA Ultimate can apply that penalty to any or all players on the team, including after the players involved have graduated.
