The rule (Art. 51.2): at no time in a game may the five players a team has on court have classification points that add up to more than 14.0.
For example, a line-up of 1.0 + 2.5 + 3.0 + 3.5 + 4.0 = 14.0 is legal. Swapping the 1.0 for a 1.5 would make 14.5, which is illegal.
Penalty (Art. 51.3): if a team goes over 14 points at any time during a game, the coach is charged a technical foul, and the line-up must be corrected at the same time.
Where it applies: the IWBF rules set the 14-point total for IWBF's main official competitions: the World Championships for men, women, U23 men and U25 women, the Paralympic tournaments, and their qualifying tournaments. The rules state that variations in the points total may apply in other competitions, so a domestic league or tournament can set a different limit.
At the table: each player's classification points are entered on the scoresheet, and the commissioner, if present, checks the ID cards and point values.
