Post as soon as possible on the day of play, after your round and before midnight local time (Rule 4.3). If you post late:
- Your Handicap Index won't update in time for the next day.
- Your score won't be included in that day's playing conditions calculation (PCC), though the day's PCC is still applied to your score.
Hole-by-hole posting is strongly recommended (Rule 4.1). It applies net double bogey automatically and records which holes weren't played.
Your score must be available for peer review, normally by people who played with you or members of your club, who can support or challenge it (Rule 4.4). Your league or club may post scores for you if it's authorized to (Rule 4.2).
