Ringette Canada's Competitions Policy sets out the national level:
- Canadian Ringette Championships (CRC): a national champion is declared in each age division for teams categorized as AA. Female U19 and Female U16 are two of the divisions (others are male U20 and U17, and co-ed U19, U16 and Open). A minimum of two teams is needed to make up an age category at the event.
- Team entry: teams must be registered and in good standing with their provincial or territorial association in the category of play, and with Ringette Canada. A position at the event is allocated to teams by the Provincial Sport Organization, and a team that commits by the Intent to Enter deadline and then withdraws is in default.
- Rosters and fees: a team that misses the roster deadline is disqualified. Entry fees are set by Ringette Canada, and team staff must be registered with Ringette Canada by the registration deadline.
- 2027 event: Ringette Canada has announced that the 2027 CRC will be held in Halifax, Nova Scotia, from March 28 to April 3, 2027, with U16, U19 and National Ringette League divisions.
- Team categories: AA covers teams in national, interprovincial or interterritorial, provincial or territorial play and provincial or territorial all-star teams. A covers regional, district or county play.
