How does the two-bounce rule work?

A wheelchair tennis player is allowed two bounces of the ball and must return it before it bounces a third time.
- The first bounce must land in court as normal (otherwise the ball is out).
- The second bounce can be inside or outside the court boundaries.
- You may also hit the ball after one bounce, or as a volley.
Apart from this and the other wheelchair exceptions (service, wheelchair and lower-limb rules), wheelchair tennis follows the ITF Rules of Tennis, on the same court with the same balls, net and scoring.
