What other rules apply: offside, free kicks and touch limits?

The Football Queensland Program Guide lists these other rules:

• No offsides.
• All free kicks are indirect, apart from a penalty kick.
• No players allowed in the goalkeeper's area.
• No arguing with the referees.
• Maximum touches: in some formats a maximum touches rule applies. Under a four-touch rule, a player may take up to four touches, and the fourth must be a pass or a shot. Any extra touch by the same player before another player touches the ball results in an indirect free kick.
