- Go to play.cricket.com.au and use the Program Finder (search by postcode) or Find a Club to see clubs, programs and competitions near you. The PlayCricket app, which you log into with CricketPlus, also shows matches for players and parents.
- Contact the club using the details listed to confirm the right grade or age group, training nights and what you need for your first session. Clubs often have shared equipment, so you can come as you are.
- Register to play through PlayHQ. The standard registration form lets you choose Female, Male, Non-Binary, Different Identity or Prefer not to say, and add a preferred name.
- Once you have registered, your club or competition confirms training times, match days and season dates, and introduces you to a coach or captain.
Smash Series is different: you can register as an individual with no club or team and be placed in a team. If nothing is near you, Smash Series lets you express interest on the Play Cricket site.
For girls' competitions in NSW, Cricket NSW points players to play.cricket.com.au/play/for-kids/club-cricket to find a local club, and to your local Community Cricket Manager (cricketnsw.com.au/your-local-cnsw-contact) for Cricket Blast.
