Eligibility: USBC Youth membership is open to anyone who has not turned 18 before August 1 of the current season (the USBC season runs August 1 to July 31). All bowlers in a youth league must hold USBC Youth membership (or Special Olympics membership).
Cost: USBC Youth Standard dues are $4 a year. Local associations and bowling centers may add a service fee on top for bowlers in a youth league.
Junior Gold: bowlers born on or after August 1, 2014 who want to enter Junior Gold qualifying events can add the U12 Junior Gold upgrade for an extra $25. It isn't needed for regular league bowling.
Youth leagues are mixed (boys and girls together) unless league rules say otherwise.
