What does my child need to register: licence and safe sport?

Everyone who takes part in a WCL sanctioned event must hold a valid WCL Licence. The licence is used to verify eligibility, including safe sport training and screening requirements. It is valid only for the current calendar year and must be renewed every year.

Each event's technical package sets out the participant eligibility requirements, which are checked against legal documentation during event registration. Registering for an event does not mean a person is approved to participate. Wrestlers must also wear an approved competition singlet; a WCL representative and the on-site head official have the final say on approving or rejecting singlets at weigh-ins and during competition.
