- When: for the Canadian age categories (U15, U17, U19), medical control and weigh-in last one hour on the day before competition. An athlete wrestling two styles (freestyle and Greco-Roman, or women's wrestling and women's Greco-Roman) only needs to weigh in once.
- What to bring: the WCL event accreditation and the approved competition singlet. Athletes present themselves as they would for competition, with singlet straps up.
- Tolerance: there is no weight tolerance unless the event technical package says otherwise.
- Privacy: athletes should not change in and out of their singlets in the weigh-in area. They are directed to a private area away from it.
- UWW categories: for the UWW categories (such as U17-Cadet), medical control and weigh-in last 30 minutes on each day of competition for that weight class, and an athlete in several age categories must weigh in for each one.
