Is my child covered by insurance?

All WA junior clubs are automatically covered under the AFL National Risk Protection Program, arranged through the AFL and broker Marsh. It covers four areas: player and volunteer personal accident, public liability, asset protection, and association liability.

• Marsh covers all players registered with a club, to the level of cover that club has taken out.
• "Prospective members" who are trying the game before registering are covered for up to 4 weeks after first engaging with the club.
• WA Football strongly recommends families consider their own private health insurance, life insurance and ambulance cover.
