Tennis Canada's scheduling guidelines (Tournament Regulations, Rules of the Court 2026) say:
- Juniors: the latest start time for any match should not be later than 9:00 pm. A match not finished by midnight should be interrupted and postponed to the following day, although the Referee can extend play if the match can be concluded in a reasonable time.
- Earliest start: matches should not commence before 8:00 am.
- Between days: no player should be required to play their first match of the day until at least 12 hours after their last match the previous day.
- Between matches: at least 45 minutes after a singles match, and at least 30 minutes between a singles and a doubles match or between two doubles matches. The Referee can modify these guidelines for special circumstances such as match length or weather.
