What are the steps to apply for eligibility?

1. Identify the eligibility group (II-1, II-2 or II-3) and download the matching form.
2. Gather the evidence, such as psychology reports, blood tests and diagnosis reports.
3. Email the completed form, evidence and signatures as a single PDF, with one passport-style .jpeg photo, to eligibility@siasport.org.
4. School and national applications are reviewed, and SIA may ask for more information. Approved applicants receive an invoice, a registration card and a payment receipt.
5. International applications are reviewed, then sent to the National Eligibility Officer. After approval and payment they are submitted to Virtus, which may take considerable time.
6. Approved athletes are added to the Athlete Masterlist and may have their details shared with the relevant sport for classification.
