Under Nordiq Canada's policy, each child in the Skill Development Program (Bunnyrabbit, Jackrabbit and Track Attack) must:
- Be a member of Nordiq Canada through registration in a member club and division, and
- Be enrolled in the program with their division to receive the enrolment kit.
The registration steps in the guidebook:
- The club first completes its annual club registration with its division for the season. This is tied to liability insurance.
- The child must be a registered member of the club or division before the group is enrolled.
- The club sends the enrolment data and payment to its division representative, then receives a Nordiq Canada Swix toque for each registered Bunnyrabbit or Jackrabbit.
The guidebook asks clubs to complete registration early in the fall, so children can ideally receive their kit at registration or at the first practice.
