- Little League Challenger Division: league ages 4 to 18. Players aged 19 to 22 who are still enrolled in school may continue only if their league doesn't offer the Senior League Challenger Division. Otherwise the league must request a waiver from Little League's Charter Committee.
- Senior League Challenger Division: ages 15 and up, with no maximum age. Players aged 15-18 can choose either division.
The local league sets the age structure and levels of play based on its players' ages and abilities.
