Which age grade does my child play in for 2026?

Go Games age grades are based on year of birth, not school year or club age. Under the 2026 Go Games FAQ, children born in these years may play in each grade:

• There must be no half age grades.
• A child whose sixth birthday is on or after 1 January can play at Under 7 in that calendar year.
• Only children whose 10th, 11th or 12th birthday falls in the calendar year can play at Under 12.

The overlapping years mean a child can play in their own grade or in an older one, as the table allows.
