Can I get involved as a parent?

Yes, and the ECB encourages it. Parents and guardians are invited to take part in sessions with their children.

• During registration you are asked whether you would like to help out. If you say yes, the centre contacts you with information and support.
• Parent helpers (called parent activators in Dynamos) support the accredited lead activator. You don't need to be a cricket expert.
• Under the ECB safeguarding training matrix, an All Stars or Dynamos helper who volunteers for more than three sessions needs an ECB Enhanced DBS check. The ECB DBS check is free for volunteers.
