Yes, if they take part at a British Gymnastics registered club. To become a member, your child must first be offered a place at a registered club; the club then gives you what you need to join British Gymnastics directly.
Membership includes:
- a comprehensive insurance package, including personal accident cover, while taking part;
- access to British Gymnastics programmes, such as the Rise Gymnastics award scheme for recreational gymnasts;
- access to local and national events, from recreational competitions and festivals (including GymFusion) up to British Championships;
- welfare and safe sport support.
British Gymnastics' membership insurance does not cover travel or emergency medical expenses on trips.
